The Daily Duh
Somebody has now hacked the PSP UMD encryption, allowing dumps of games to be made. There isn't actually anything you can do with a dump of a PSP game, but you can have one and show it to all your friends, if you have any. This is, of course, the first stage of relatively worthless hacking on a video game system, to be followed by running Linux on it. Meanwhile, I will personally pay for anybody who can hack a video game system in a way that isn't totally useless to go on a fucking date. In other stupid hacking news, somebody will give A video game system that can already run Linux to the first person who can hack their website.
The first EQ2 expansion pack was announced. There is nothing funny about EQ. It's like the senile old uncle who insists he can still function, and constantly tries to pick up women. The expansion pack is his new set of wheels. You feel guilty for hoping he'll shuffle off this mortal coil soon. Rest assured, he, like EQ2, will be around long after the sun burns out. Roofle pwned us.
The military has apparently decided to research MMOGs, particularly focusin on, among other things, addiction to MMOGs, social skills and friendship development, and the four roles of achievers, socializers, explorers, and killers. I wonder which kind the military is interested in.
In ongoing duh news, the following MMOGs have still not shut down: EQ, EQ2, UO, AC, AC2, SB, DAoC, WoW, PS, a bunch of other shit. FOOLS!
